Dai Nga Hydropower Plant exploits water resources from the La Nga River with an annual generation capacity of 44.25 million kWh. In order to comply with Circular No. 47/2017/TT-BTNMT on monitoring the exploitation and use of water resources issued by the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Dai Nga Hydropower Plant has implemented a flow and water level monitoring system.
The monitoring system for flow discharge and water level at the Dai Nga Hydropower Reservoir was completed by Asin Vietnam — a reputable and experienced provider in the installation of online water quality monitoring systems in general, and hydropower reservoir monitoring projects in particular.

The equipment installed for the online monitoring system at the Dai Nga Hydropower Reservoir consists of imported devices selected based on reference to modern hydrometeorological monitoring system architectures from leading global manufacturers. These devices fully meet the requirements for analysis, online monitoring, and data transmission to the Water Resources Authority.
The monitoring system installed for Dai Nga Hydropower Plant includes:
- Water flow through the plant
- Minimum environmental flow discharge
- Water level
Monitoring, analysis, and data transmission equipment in the system:
- Tokyo Keiki UFL30 ultrasonic flow meter – Japan
- Siemens electromagnetic flow meter – Germany
- Tokyo Keiki MRG 10 radar water level sensor – Japan
- Ewon data logger and communication gateway – Sweden
Before installation, Asin’s technical team conducts a site survey of actual conditions and develops detailed engineering drawings for submission to the project owner for approval, ensuring a smooth and efficient implementation process.
